Amazing embroidery! Heavy chenille over cotton duck. Almost 1lb/yard.

“Fossil” is referring to the shape/pattern being similar to both fern leaves and trilobites.

Fern is still thriving on Earth and the trilobite has long extincted.

Background or the base cloth is an unbleached natural color. Not white or cream. The textile artist chose the perfect color, texture and weight for the base cloth.

Most are about 26″x26″ showroom squares. Pieces have size noted in title if smaller. Note some pieces are folded.
