The name of “Essentia” is somewhat misleading because this silk is nothing but “basic” or “regular”!  Yarns were made into different colors, thickness and shape before they were put onto the machine. The end result? A pebbled, iridescent and highly metallic piece of art.

The subtle and irregular surface “pattern” reminds one of the weathered uneven surface of bronze or copper sculpture, especially when fountain water runs through it under bright sunlight!   Fully reversible, each side compliments the other in both colors and texture.
